All the world’s a stage and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances, and one man, in his time plays many parts. And in my time I have played the actor, the librarian, the archivist, the journalist and made many other exits and entrances. I have taken sweet wine and bitter brews in many of life’s taverns. I have never bought favours. I have done it my way. My body now resides in Somersetshire, England but my mind and spirit roam free wheresoever they choose to go. My only god is Nature; I submit to its beauty, its benevolence, its cruelty and its inevitability.
